What's actually happening in our k-12 schools?
Jewish teachers are scared. Hatred against Jewish people has become normative in schools. What the public sees as fiery walkouts by mobilized students is actually a small portion of the vitriol animosity directed at Jewish teachers and staff each day.
Our ask
We don't want more money, performative gestures or lip service. We want your help to bring mandatory antisemitism eduction to our school boards so that Jewish staff don't need to work in fear and so our students of all backgrounds learn in an environment where respect is demonstrated to peoples of all faiths and ethnicities.
Why Mandatory Contemporary Antisemitism PD
This is "Palestine Art Contest" is just one of many examples where our colleagues, other licensed teachers, thought it was okay to teach young completely unsubstantiated facts about Israel targeting Palestinians children. But there are so many more examples of teachers and principals bringing geopolitics into the class on a daily basis. So its not much of a surprise that Jewish teachers are experiencing workplace harassment and even death threats.
